This is a 9 mile figure of eight walk taking in the villages and hamlets of Elmdon, Catsmere End, Littlebury Green and Chrishall. The first part is 5.5 miles and the second part is 3.5 miles. The rural walk is on the eastern part of the Chilterns giving some expansive views over the rolling countryside. The walk skirts several mature woodlands, and passes through Lofts Hall parkland adding a nice variety to this ramble. With luck we will see red kite, hares and deer en route. There are some gentle inclines with one high stile.
