Finglas Woods and Stuc Odhar

A walk in The Trossachs through Finglas Woods with the option to climb the peak of Stuc Odhar with fine views of Ben Ledi and the surrounding mountains and lochs.  The walk climbs through the woods near Brig O'Turk on waymarked paths.  There is an option should the weather be favourable to strike out over the open moor to the summit of Stuc Odhar - a rocky peak of 638m on a 2km out and back leg, before completing the loop through the woods back to the start.  Cafe options on the route in Brig O'Turk.

About 8 miles (12km) (about 4 - 5 hours).  Max elevation 638 meters.

This is an exploratory walk for the 2022 AOG at Stirling and has not been walked before.
