Organisaton of walks

The Dorset group organises walks throughout the year, usually on the 2nd Sunday of the month. During the summer there is occasionally an additional walk. The typical length is 6 to 9 miles.

Group profile

Our group consists mainly of men in the 30 to 70 range. We do occasionally have women on our walks and they are always made welcome.

Lunch arrangements

Our walks generally have a pub stop at lunch-time. A number of our group have a pub lunch, but others prefer to picnic nearby. The choice is yours. We give the phone number of the pub so that people can contact it if they wish in order to check menu/prices/need to book a table etc. The walk leader takes no responsibility for this.
