This month's walk was from Shipbourne, near Tonbridge. Sixteen of us met opposite The Chaser Inn for an eight-mile walk which went over fields, through woods, along quiet country lanes, and over part of the Fairlawne estate.

After lunch the skies were growing darker....and about 15-20 minutes before reaching the end of the walk, down came the rain accompanied by the rumble of thunder in the distance.

Drinks back at The Chaser, just as the rain stopped ! Thanks to everyone that joined us today, and thanks especially to Nic Percival for planning and leading the walk. A most enjoyable day.
