A repeat of a walk we did a couple of years back from Chevening, near Sevenoaks. A great day, still breezy but, on the whole, a sunny day. From the church in Chevening, we took paths into the North Downs. Superb views to the valley below and beyond and toward Ide Hill, where we could see the distinctively tall sequoia tree at the National Trust property, Emmetts, on the horizon.
A picnic lunch in the churchyard at Knockholt, before our descent back towards Chevening with good views of the impressive Chevening House.
Thanks to Jeremy Palmer for leading the walk and everyone else who joined us making an enjoyable day out.
