Walk along the canal from Woolhampton to Aldermaston Lock and meal at the Rowbarge

Eleven of us set off for a lovely walk along the Kennet & Avon canal from the village of Woolhampton to Aldermaston Wharf in West Berkshire, and then looping into the Wasing estate where there were plenty of willow trees in perfectly straight lines, before looping back to return walking along the canal towpath.  Many thanks to those who helped me slightly amend the route so that we did not have to follow the cycle path, or have to walk along a busy road.  Ten of us stayed for a meal at the Rowbarge afterwards, and the go to the bar, order and pay system meant that it was very straightforward for the organiser, namely me!
