🥾 Adventure Awaits: My First Outing with the Glasgow Gay Ramblers!

What an incredible day! Yesterday, I joined the Glasgow Gay Ramblers for their monthly walk, and I’m still buzzing from the experience. As it was my very first event with the GOC, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I couldn’t have asked for a better introduction.

The CrewThe group was so welcoming! From the moment I arrived, the other members were friendly, chatty, and full of great stories. It didn’t feel like I was the "new person" for long; the atmosphere was inclusive, laid-back, and filled with plenty of laughs along the trail.

The ViewsNature really put on a show for us! The scenery was absolutely stunning—crisp air, sweeping landscapes, and those perfect "stop-and-stare" vistas that make every uphill climb worth it. It was the perfect escape from the city buzz.

The VibesI left the walk feeling completely recharged. There’s something special about combining fresh air with such a supportive community. My first GOC experience was, quite frankly, great—I felt totally at ease and genuinely happy to be part of the group.
