Our Christmas walk and lunch near Dunsden coincided with some very stormy weather. But undeterred  a merry group of 23 members set out well-prepared for whatever mother nature had on offer. Fortunately she was reasonably kind to us. The sun made an occasional appearance as did some light drizzle and the occasional heavier shower whilst underfoot we were  challenged with slippery and muddy  footpaths. But undeterred we forged our way ahead on this circular walk back to our starting point. A group of 23 walkers needs some managing and our back marker John did a grand job. In fact so well he was the last to arrive for lunch but just in time for his main course!

The venue for our Christmas lunch this year proved to be a good find. The Flowing Spring independently managed put on a great meal and the intimate dining room created a a warm and cosy atmosphere.
