Christmas Pantomime visit to see Beauty and the Beast. Saturday 29 November

A merry group of 12 members spent a jolly afternoon at the Charing Cross theatre in London to see the Christmas pantomime Beauty and the Beast. This was a wittily written panto with a small but talented cast. The setting was a place north of Scotland. Amusingly some of the cast members spoke with Scottish accents! Previously it appears they may have performed with other accents!

After the performance we had planned to have an impromptu meal somewhere close to the theatre but Saturday night before Christmas proved impossible to get a table to seat us all and we eventually ended up at the Christmas food market in Trafalgar Square. A nice finish to a very enjoyable afternoon.
