On Friday 6th June 2014 the club will have been in existence for 40 years and as part of the celebration of our history we will be writing articles for publication in magazines and other media. One thing which considerably helps getting an article published is personal quotes from people and we would like your help by writing a brief quote about what GOC has meant for you. We are not looking for a long article – one to three sentences would be great, and what we really want are expressions of your feelings rather than plain facts.

There are three areas we are particularly looking for:

• People who were around in the early years of GOC and have recollections or anecdotes about the early days and how things have changed;
• People who have met partners or close friends through GOC;
• People whose lives have been changed significantly by being members of the club.

We would only show your first name and if you are comfortable with it we would also like to use a photo of you with your quote. We will also put the quotes and photos on a page on our website. If you have something to say about more than one of those areas, please feel free to send in more than one quote.
