Welcome to the Norfolk group page.

We are always looking to welcome new members, and we hope to meet up with you on a future walk. I feel sure that you will enjoy walking in the lovely Norfolk countryside with our group, and it is a great way of making new friends and discovering new parts of the county.

Most of our walkers are male and between 40 and 70 years old, but we welcome everybody no matter what their gender, age and ability.

We  walk once a month, usually on the Saturday or Sunday of the fourth weekend of the month. Our walks tend to be fairly easy, there aren't too many mountains in Norfolk, and between 5 and 9 miles in length. The walks start normally at 11.00 and would finish by 15.30.

Many walks involve a pub stop or a visit to a cafe, but you would be advised to bring something to eat and drink, as there is always a lunch stop. Another essential is sensible footwear as the paths can often be muddy.

The coordinator for the Norfolk group is Nigel Hatch. You can contact me on the link below or ring 01603 663910 if you have any questions. I look forward to welcoming you on a walk in the near future.
