Fourteen intrepid walkers set out on a grey overcast day for the riverside walk between Dartington and Totnes. Despite the exceptional recent rainfall we encountered no flooding but several patches of muddy footpath.

Arriving in Totnes some members opted to picnic whilst others had lunch in the Riverside Café.

Refuelled and reinvigorated the group retraced its steps once again enjoying the riverside scenery and birdsong.

At the end of the walk most participants made their way to a local café in Buckfast for the traditional end of walk cake stop!

An enjoyable and mainly dry day out!
