Nine of us met at 12 noon to play our monthly bowling match at Torquay’s Hollywood Bowl with 4 exciting games. We split into two teams and the usual mixed fortunes were enjoyed by everyone.

Afterwards we had coffee and cakes at Hoopers Department store with its roof top cafe giving us fine views of the English Rivera at its best.

After our cafe stop it was decided that we should take to the air and enjoy a ride on Torquay’s big wheel and see the sights of the beautiful bay from high above.

My thanks to everyone who came along and made it such an enjoyable day.

As August is the school holidays we will have a break next month, our next bowling adventure will be on Monday September 15th.
