Hi Gang,
With the threat of inclement weather 7 of us set out for a gentle wander around this interesting combined villages.
The weather stayed bright and warm as we explored old thatched timber framed houses, ancient moated manor house and church.
Sadly there was no sign of Boris JOHNSON who should have known we were coming and made a effort to welcome us.
Onwards we entered SOTWELL before dropped into the "BARR Healing Centre" for drinks and nibbles, whilst some explored the house.
The return, was intentionally a complete contrast, after the narrow tree lined streets we followed the slightly elevated field side path - with views south to the Wessex Downs.
Passing the moated manor house our lunch was at the Red Lion.
Thanks to all those that travelled in, by way of bus, motorcycle and car. Bill
