A late breakfast this morning as serving only began at 9 am, but made good progress to the sentinal tower at Stepper Point.
Met a lovely elderly couple who wanted to take their picture at Trevone Bay. Their phone was stuck on a menu offering many types of selfie which they didn't want. I took 5 pics of them and they were so suprised when I had done this they said 'you can perform miracles'. Perhaps not, but it was a pleasure to see them so happy.
I had a 11 inch pizza with a smoothie in Harlyn Bay, when I was expecting, admittedly an expensive pizza slice. I still managed to eat it
I walked around Trevose Head with it's lighthouse and saw my first Cornish Chough. The chough, a crow like bird, with bright red legs and beak, suffers as it likes grazed grasslands, a habitat that is diminishing. It is the county/national bird of Cornwall, so it was lovely to see one here.
Tonight I'm staying in McDonalds Farm, so there's quacking here and there, in fact everywhere there's a quack, quack quack. Bet I'm not the 1st to say that.
The feature picture is of turquoise seas from the cliff tops
The supplementary pics are of the tower on Stepper Point, the turquoise seas from the cliff, Trevone Bay, a seascape, the lighthouse at Trevose Head and another seascape
There is just 1 week left of the walk
