Today I started the South West Coast Path, the first section, from Minehead to Podlock, of 21 which will take me all the way to Land's End. I also began a 3 day trek through Exmoor National Park, my last of 5 National Parks I've visited.
After a steep ascent through woods, I walked along the tops of high cliffs with fine views of South Wales and South West England. The new path to me decending Hurlstone Head has a dramatic drop with many little flowering wild plants flourishing in the cracks protected from the blasting wind.
I treated myself to a savoury tea, which for me consisted of a cheese scone, with cheese and chutney washed down with still lemonade. A lovely day
