Thirteen members of Devon GOC and two members from Dorset and Somerset set out on a pleasant walk from Totnes to Ashsprington through the Sharpham Estate.

The walk was along quiet footpaths and cycle paths and through woodland and fields. There were a lot of wild flowers out including Bluebells and Orchids.

Our lunch spot was the community orchard in Ashprington. Following lunch we had a walk around the village, and came upon members of the Royal family, which had been made by the villagers.

The good weather held for our entire walk and the group enjoyed refreshments outside at Steamer Quay once we had returned to Totnes.
