A few of us assembled at Bishops Lydeard Station to take the train to Minehead on what looked to possibly be a rather wet day. However, apart from short periods of some misty rain we had dry weather for a walk around Minehead taking in the Higher Town and Middle Town areas. After a leisurely lunch together we resumed the walk taking in the birthplace of the scientist and writer Arthur C Clarke before it was soon time to head back on the last train.
Thanks to those who attended and particular thanks to Michael for keeping the walk heading in the right direction at times !
