Today the East Kent Group completed a 10 mile walk to the west of the village of Barham, about 4 miles south of Canterbury. There were 10 of us in total. We welcomed a new member named Chris and hope he enjoyed the outing.
The walk was varied through woods, fields and the occasional settlement. After the walk finished we retired to The Duke of Cumberland pub for a drink, before dispersing in different directions.
Overall, the weather was great as we had sun and a breeze a lot of the time. I took pictures of the group, but unfortunately the GOC website says the images were too big to download. An enjoyable day out.
