Walk Wells & Wookey Hole

Seven members set out from Wells for Wookey Hole in grey weather, which was quite a surprise given the recent heat wave. But it was nice condition for walking the six miles and we made good progress on good surfaces with two stops for refreshment including meeting the witch (and her wizard) at Wookey Hole. On our higher return journey via Milton and Walcombe, we had splendid views of Glastonbury Tor and Wells Cathedral. We finished with tea and cake at Kitty Banks in Wells Market Place. Members feedback, "That’s was a very enjoyable walk yesterday.  Many thanks for arranging it, and including me in the mailing list."; "Thanks for organising the great walk."
