Six members attended this walk and were rewarded by fine weather and good views. We started at the St Judith's Lane Car Park in Sawtry and made our way through Aversley Wood SSSI which had many bluebells on display. We then continued on via Steeple Gidding and on to Little Gidding where we stopped for lunch in Ferrar House garden by Little Gidding Church. Charles I had been given sanctuary in a previous Church building on this site in 1646 and the current building is the subject of a poem by TS Elliott.
After lunch we completed the 7.5 mile circuit on a downhill path back to Sawtry.
Red Kite were a common feature throughout the walk.
