Upper Llandogo and Cleddon, Lower Wye Valley

Seventeen people attended this fabulous 7 mile walk from Whitestone to the Narth, following ancient pathways through woodlands on the western side of the Wye, taking in some outstanding views of the Wye Valley along the way.  After a steep descent down a narrow path with some stone steps fairly early on in the walk, we then climbed soon after through the forest and walked through delightful woods full of bluebells as far as the eye could see.  We returned for the last few miles via Cleddon Falls and several fields and meadows, taking a very unusual route (you had to be there to believe it).  This was a real gem of a walk and a fantastic few hours spent out and about.  Thanks to Richard for leading the walk.
