The Rinsey Ramble (Cornwall, Sunday 12th March 2017)

This was probably the most photographed walk in a long time and the magazine editor even said that we never let them down in Cornwall when it comes to photos!!..

We also couldn't have been more fortunate with the weather.

The highlight of the walk was Pengursick Castle which we reached quite early on into the walk before heading towards coastal paths in the Praa Sands area. Despite the wind which seemed to pick up here we were lucky to find a well sheltered spot for lunch. Following lunch we headed back to and then beyond our starting point where we stopped for a little bit of unexpected bird watching on the cliffs and were also joined by two more walkers. Despite a few hills and a bit of mud along the farm tracks in the final part of the walk it seems a good day was had by all. Thanks to Ali, Simon, Steve, Terry, Keith, Matt, Steve, Martin, Mike and then John and Mark who joined us mid way into the walk.  Next months walk is in the Perranporth area. Details will follow soon.
