The Elham Valley Way

<2>They are dead! (Except for Bo) and only reached half way...

On the 11th of June, Gary, Chris, John, Robert and Bo actually managed to complete the 22 mile Elham Valley Way to Canterbury.

The route explores the unspoiled valley below the North Downs and visits a string of lovely villages with some striking panoramic views.

Warm weather with hazy sun but cooled down by a very heavy shower between Patrixbourne and Canterbury.

We mantained a steady pace but still had time for enjoying several refreshment breaks including, at Lyminge to the sound of the church bells and the childrens playground, ice creams at Elham, and beers at the Black Robin at Kingston.

We really enjoyed  the walk and are already planning further long distance routes hopefully with many more of us.
