The skies had cleared by the time 17 guys and 1 dog were ready to set off fot the day's walk across the Greensand way from Winterfold Hill to Pitch hill where wonderful views were enjoyed for the morning break.  With the exception of a couple of short sharp showers we were blessed with good spells of sunshine with made up for Sunday's chilly temperature.  We encountered very little mud despite the morning's rain even on the lower levels.

The walk concluded with a fine abundance of cakes offered by the following contributors:

James - hazelnut cake
