Sunshine, showers and stiles!

19 GOC members old and new assembled in Henley in Arden for a wander along the River Alne, the Stratford upon Avon Canal, over fields and up a hill through woodland.  The leaders welcome was cut short by a sharp shower, there were several stops to either add or remove waterproofs and then layers as the sun arrived and the temperature increased.
A very varied walk with some lovely open views, one early arrival at the lunch stop even found a heated seat, a farm roller warmed by the sun!  After the walk some headed for the famous Henley in Arden ice cream shop, with others preferring tea or the pub.
