Solent – Danebury Hill Fort and the Test Valley

11 walkers and Nelson the dog set off on a fine day to walk to the impressive Iron Age Danebury Hill Fort and enjoy the wonderfull views. We then descended to walk to the Test Valley and along the old disused railway line. Along the way we saw the unusual and interesting eel traps transversing the clear and wide River Test. At the walks end we all wnt to the Peat and Spade pub for well earned beverages. All in all an enjoyable 11 mile hike
