Puttenham and Crooksbury walk 26 Nov 2017

The forecast of brisk winds, morning sun and low temperatures turned out to be incorrect and we were blessed with light breezes, sun all day although it was cold.

In the crisp air and sun it was glorious walking with lots of late autumn colour.  Crooksbury Hill, the lunch spot, afforded an expansive vista looking south.

At the end end of the walk we had a fine selection of cakes and refreshments.  Our thanks to all our generous marketeers and baking experts:-

Robert - Chocolate cake (only contained 1/3 kilo of dark chocolate!)

Tony - Apple cake

Robert - butterscotch tarts

Sue - Chocolate muffins

Gordon - chocolate biscuits

Tim - Almond slices

James - Mincemeat cake, a taste of things to come...
