Fourteen of us, including five new members, met in glorious April sunshine for a bracing walk up Mount Caburn (twice!).
We were expertly lead by Steve Hayes, no stranger to Glynde and its environs. The route and the weather showed off the sweeping panoramas of the wide open downland around Lewes at their best.
The open views, the brilliant sunshine and the sight of the spring lambs, not to mention the camaraderie of the group, gave us a real sense of being out and about in the world again, after so many months spent rather close to home.
