16 of us set off from Warren Car Park and descended to the picturesque village of Noss Mayo. Here we were shown the two causeways which can be used by pedestrians, at low tide, to cross over to Newton Ferrers.
Then we continued our walk, out of Noss Mayo and along the wooded bank of the Yealm Estuary. The sun came out and accentuated the wonderful views at the mouth of the Yealm Estuary, and this is where we sat and enjoyed our picnic lunch.
The sun continued to shine for the remainder of our walk which afforded magnificent views of the sea below and the wonderful sound of skylarks above.
