Five of us made to Lymington on a gloriously sunny mid week afternoon.
After skirting through shaded paths and country lanes along the north side of the marshes we took a quick detour into Lymington marina before following the sea wall around the seaward side of the marshes.
Half way to our lunch stop we cut into the grazing land in the interior before heading back out to the sea wall and making our way to the lunch stop in Keyhaven.
It was a short walk from there back to the starting point and cars.
Plenty of wildlife was encountered en route including Dunlins, Avocets, Roe Deer, Turnstones, Black Tailed Godwits, Curlews as well as many other more common birds.
