This was an 8 1/2 mile circular walk from and to Llanharan, taking in Brynna Woods, Smylog forest, the Cariad Stones, the ruins of the 12th Century St Peters Church, and the wind turbines.  The weather forecast was not great, but 15 keen walkers and 6 dogs enjoyed an excellent walk led by Mark and except for a couple of short, sharp showers, we enjoyed mostly sunny, warm weather.  We were all treated at the end of the walk with tea and a superb selection of home made cakes from Garry.  A thouroughly enjoyable day out.
