Llandudno & the Great Orme

The weather was fine but a bit chilly and windy for our North Wales walk on the exposed plateau of the Great Orme, the limestone headland sticking out into the sea adjacent to the town of Llandudno. A couple of sort-lived showers went everyoen diving into their rucksacks to extract a rainf jacket, but the precipitation had ended no sooner than the jackets were donned. Some hail advertised that, after the hot, dry summer, autumn is definitely here. We ended up in a delightful cafe for tea and cake (or for some a cream tea).
