West Kent – Kemsing, Knatt’s Valley and Heaverham 6th August, 2018

This month's West Kent walk was a short 9 mile mile walk from Kemsing village, near Seal, Kent.  Initially taking us the steep slope of the North Downs with superb views below.  Once at the top, our ramble continued along quiet, and much welcome shaded lanes, before crossing the Woodland's golf course.  Shortly after, we stopped for lunch in the shade of a large tree.  After descending from the downs, we passed the 17th century mansion of St Clere before continuing on to the hamlet of Heaverham, and then across farmland back to Kemsing for a quick drink in The Bull.  What a superb day.
