JOGLE Day 89 Bude to Boscastle

Lovely to be joined today by the handsome and fun Michael and Graham. Thanks you both for your lovely company.

We started off in the dry over easy territory, walking past the folly at Compass Point and the handsome surf intructors on Widemouth Bay. The guide suggested the path  got strenuous after that, and it did down and  up Dizzard and St Glennys valleys, but we met a charming hedge cutter who had just cut back the vegetation on our route. We had a rest in Crackington Haven where we chatted to a couple from Co Antrim, who gave me the awe/mad look when told about my JOGLE walk.

The afternoon walk was tough and in rain, but you could tell on a sunny day it would look lovely. The book said it was 16.5 miles, on Graham's device it said 18 miles. I met a fellow walker at a pub entrance who said, 'That was a tough section'. I agreed.

The feature picture is of Boscastle.

The supplementary pics are of boats off Bude, walking through the woods, my walking companions and me, goats, Boscastle Harbour entrance and Boscastle
