JOGLE Day 87 Clovelly to Hartland Quay

I walked up the steep cobbled road out of Clovelly in the rain. The rain had made the paths slippery. So slippery, I fell on my back, Luckily onto my soft rucksack.

I met a fellow Welsh man and wife on the path who rejoiced at a Tory free Wales. At Hartland Point Kiosk a gentleman was bemoaning the affect of a Labour government would have on private education. You couldn't escape politics even on the South West Coast. Luckily I met a lovely couple from Leeds and had a nerdy walkers chat about guides to the South West Coast Path. Are Trailblazers sketch maps alone sufficient to navigate the route? The route was stunning and I had a lovely day.

The feature picture is of Hartland Point Lighthouse and Lundy Island.

The supplementary pictures are of the 'Angle Wings' shelter, a woodland scene, a meadow scene, Hartland Point Lighthouse and Lundy island, the valley leading up to Hartland Abbey and Hartland Quay, formerly used as smuggler's landing spot and used by wreckers.
