I walked my last few miles on the Heart of England Way from Mickleton, before leaving it behind in favour of the Cotswold Way in Chipping Camden. It is the 1st of 8 days walking the Cotswold Way in the Cotswold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, my 2nd of 5 AONBs. I walked along the Cotswold ridge to Broadway Tower before decending into Broadway in Worcestershire, my only night in Worcestershire. The day was peppered with D Day celebrations. The one in Chipping Camden was blocking the road causing traffic jams.
