Instead of following one particular trial, today I followed a mix of leafy lanes taking me out of Derbyshire into Staffordshire and then following the final section of the Limestone Way to Rocester dominated by the JCB works and JCB Academy  and the Staffordshire Way  past the shooting club (connected to JCB?) to Uttoxeter.
