JOGLE Day 53 Rushop Hall to Hartington

My first day where in rained all day from the moment I left the front door to the moment I arrived here it rain. There were times it was an absolute downpour and moments when it rained heavily. I met 3 possible Duke of Edinburgh groups soaked through asking if they were going the right way or asking where they were. The 3rd group were being rescued by a hunky guy, and a young woman walking up the track behind them. Even the Blackhill Mill Tuck Shop was closed 'due to poor weather'.

However I did see some lovely limestone landscapes.

The feature picture is of Hay Dale a limestone dry valley

The supplementary pictures are of very large poppies, Wye Valley (in Derbyshire) with cottages, the limestone Chee Valley and Hartington village centre.

The forecast tomorrow is for rain, light rain.
