JOGLE Day 49 Charlestown to Diggle

Left Charlestown in deep mist this morning, so much so, that Stoodley Pike, which can normally been seen miles sway, could only be seen when within yards of it

The mist cleared and after walking round 3 reservoirs, walked across open moorland to rocky edges.

Incongruously the busy M62 appears and is crossed by Pennine Way over a pedestrian bouncy bridge.

The feature picture is of a marshly lake in the moorlands

The supplementary pics are of Soodley Pike in the mist, Black Stone Edge rocks and the of Diggle from the top of Standedge
