Left Charlestown in deep mist this morning, so much so, that Stoodley Pike, which can normally been seen miles sway, could only be seen when within yards of it
The mist cleared and after walking round 3 reservoirs, walked across open moorland to rocky edges.
Incongruously the busy M62 appears and is crossed by Pennine Way over a pedestrian bouncy bridge.
