JOGLE Day 46 Horton in Ribblesdale to Malham

On what was a mainly a wet and misty morning it was good to have Emma and Alaister's company climbing Pen y Ghent. Thank you to both.

Later alone I climbed Fountains Fell where I met the Pennine Way walkers going the opposite way.

It was still raining when I got to Malham Tarn, but it stopped when I reached the climax of the walk the great limestone cliff of Malham Cove with it's limestone bedding stones

The feature pic is of Malham Cove cliff.

The supplementary pics are of my company today, the mist on Pen y Ghent, a lane near the National Trust base at Malham Tarn and the view from the limestone bedding at Malham Cove, looking down the valley.
