JOGLE Day 40 Alston to Dufton

On day 2 of 5 in the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (my first of 5 AONB's) I climbed over the highest point of the Pennine Way, Cross Fell, followed by Little Dun Fell, Great Dun Fell and The Heights. After 22 miles a tad tired now.

The fearture picture shows the beginning of the climb.

The supplementary pictures show Greg's Hut, a place of refuge if you are ever in trouble on Cross Fell, the view towards the Fells of the Lake District as I decended and a Spring tree with new fresh green leaves
