Hidden Corners of Torquay

A group of 14 of us met at the Osborne Hotel, Torquay.

Robin and his friend, Terry, used their local knowledge to lead the group along woodland paths which periodically afforded tantalizing views of the sea and scenic Torbay.

One of the many highlights was seeing P&O's Azura and Ventura, and the Queen Elizabeth 2 - magnificent cruise liners anchored in the bay.

Our picnic lunch above Thatcher's Rock was socially distanced in a covered seating area that provided us with shelter from a heavy rain shower - excellent timing.

We then followed the coast path before heading inland and eventually back to Meadfoot beach and our cars, and reflecting on a very memorable walk.
