South Gower Coast

6 Jan 2019 | West Wales, Women Groups

This was our first walk of 2019 and the first "practice" walk for the AOG in July, and what a cracker it turned out to be.

Some people were still on New Year holidays and this walk on Gower was probably a bit too far to travel at this time of year for our further flung friends in Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire so a happy band of 7 assembled for this beautiful walk on the Gower coast.

Christmas Lunch in Laugharne Carmarthenshire

15 Dec 2018 | West Wales, Women Groups

A lot of us sat in our cars peeping out now and again to see if anyone had surfaced.

At the allotted start time we assembled in the car park quickly making for a wooden shelter to keep dry.

It was still raining so hard that a few people decided they did not want to get wet and so turned around and drove home, something that I can't remember ever happening before....
