12 members turned up this 7.5 mile circular walk from the car park at Holme next to Sea.
We got really lucky with the weather as it was a sunny warm day: warm enough to wear shorts.
The walk used a mixture of the coastal path, minor roads and farm tracks. From the start point we headed inland and then run parallel to the coast. This gave great views of the coast. Along this part there was some discussion over the origin of some earthworks in a field. However, we could not decide on what they were.
Thornham Church was our lunch stop. We then picked up the coastal path to Holme next to Sea. However, being a GOC walk someone did mention there was a tea shop at the Norfolk Wildlife Trust so the group took advantage of that. After refreshment we carried on and got out onto the beach and a group photo.
From the beach we took the path back to the start point and luckily the shack was still open for ice cream which we all took advantage off.
