Goblin Combe 7 February 16

"The signs were not looking good with the weather for this walk - ten minutes before the start we were sat in our cars with hail falling heavily, after the heavy rain showers through the earlier part of the morning. However, when we got under way the hail and the rain stopped almost until the end of the walk.

It was a bit muddy underfoot but everyone seemed to enjoy the day. The walk took us mainly through woods but with some open areas, and a good view towards Weston from the top of the Combe. The whole group then retired to a local hostelry for some well deserved drinks and food.

Thanks to all who attended for a good walk and good company" and thanks to Paul for the report and photo.
