Glamorgan Heritage Coast

Where better than to spend the first walk of the South Wales Group since COVID-19 than the annual trip to the spectacular Jurassic coastline of the Glamorgan Heritage Coast?  After meeting at the Atlantic College at St Donat's, a group of twelve members walked the along the All Wales Footpath to Nash Point and its lighthouse, then onto the cafe at Monknash, then along the cliffs, and then back along the beach, stopping for a swim on the way, before make our way back to St Donat's via the cafe again.  Despite the variable weather forecast, it turned out to be a pleasant day and a very enjoyable walk, even if the sea was a little cold!  Thankfully, we all arrived back home before the thunderstorms began!
