Garden visit to St Timothee Pinkneys Green

A trio of us visited  St Timothee at Pinkneys Green whose owner is a member of the National Garden scheme. On arrival we were offered coffee and cake followed by a very comprehensive and interesting slide presentation by the owner.

She started work on the garden 18 years ago and as with any garden it has been both a subject of change and much hard work. At the time of our visit we were able to see a wide collection of different daffodils, some in full bloom others waiting to open whilst others had past their best. A beautiful magnolia was in full bloom. Impressive and if the sun had been out even more so.

The owner also mentioned the show of tulips she had but which were not in bloom yet. Probably worth a visit again later in the year.
