Our group of 18 was blessed with fine weather, 3 trustees and a former GOC Chairman for our climb up the north face of Dumyat the hill over looking our base camp at Stirling Uni.
We enjoyed coffee by the reservoir and lunch seated on a convenient wall before a steep climb took us to the top where we were rewarded by great views over the Forth River as far as Edinburgh. We had a clear view of the University campus.  John our walk leader pointed out all the local landmarks and told us a little of the areas strategic importance as the gateway between the highlands and lowlands.
The was a happy buzz of conversation all day as people caught up with old friends and made new ones. Thanks to John for a brilliant first walk at the 2022 AOG.
