A mild and sunny day saw 22 members turn out for an easy walk over the popular and scenic Hengistbury Head. We enjoyed wonderful views stretching from the Isle of Wight to the Purbeck Hills before making a short ferry crossing over the mouth of Christchurch Harbour, then completed the circular walk. Most of this contingent took up the leader's invitation back for tea, soup, cake etc. which (I think) went down well.
